Victimology is the scientific study of victimization, including the relationships between victims and offenders, the interactions between victims and the criminal justice system — that is, the police and courts, and corrections officials — and the connections between victims and other social groups and institutions, such as the media, businesses, and social movements. Victimology is however not restricted to the study of victims of crime alone but may include other forms of human rights violations. Contents

The USA always seems to be the 1st country, of all 196, to offer aid; but, what about those countries whose profits from oil are they also contributing. This is being asked because the oil rich nations of the middle east did not contribute much if any to the earthquake victims in Turkey. Since they make billions off of the USA are they willing to contribute manpower, money, and resources to victims of the Haiti earthquake? Asked by Questioner - Wed Jan 13 23:16:59 2010 - Civic Participation - 4 Answers - 2 Comments A. Actually, the Dominican Republic was the first to offer aid. I'm not sure what your point is, though? The United Arab Emirates has never really been known to be particularly humanitarian oriented... But the US's dependence on them doesn't really have much to do with Haiti. A full list of countries that have pledged aid is on wikipedia: There's quite a few. Answered by Sarah - Thu Jan 14 00:32:22 2010 Have anyone been a victim of "Cormac Personnel Resources" or "Crsitina maria efrim"?
Q. I have been a victim of an imaginary recruiting company "cormac personnel resources" and another company that cormac was recruiting for 'Marina power international'... at the very last stage for about 3 month of correspondence they asked me to send money as VISA fees to Germany by western union to a woman called "cristina maria efrim" in Bucharest, Romania. Asked by - Wed Jan 12 23:03:49 2011 - Security - 3 Answers - 2 Comments A. Sorry to hear that you lost money to a scammer. For future reference, Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever. You can post up the email address and the emails themselves from that scammer.
